The M&S café at Holmbush Shopping Centre is taking part in the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning for Macmillan on Friday, September 26.

Alongside staff raffles and a guess how many coffee beans are in the jar competition, the male staff are being sponsored to have their legs waxed for the cancer charity.

Paul Shillam, store manager, said: “The World’s Biggest Coffee Morning provides a great excuse to gather with friends, family, or work colleagues, put your feet up and enjoy a cuppa and a slice of cake and all in aid of a truly worthwhile charity.”

All M&S cafés are supporting Macmillan Cancer Support throughout September, donating 5p from every coffee and cake sold, as well as 20p from every Victoria Sponge sold in the stores’ food halls.

Bespoke Macmillan badges, by renowned British designer Celia Birtwell, and a Macmillan Cupcake Kit will also be available for a suggested donation of £2 each.
