A ‘green-ice’ skating rink will be open to the public at the Shoreham Centre this weekend, with music and seasonal refreshments on offer.
The rink - made from ethical nylon, which means ‘huge fun without the damp and freezing hands’, according to the organisers - will be based inside the main hall.
With a capacity for 35 people, the rink will be open from 3.30pm to 8pm on Friday, December 16 and from 9.30am to late afternoon on Saturday, December 17.
The non for profit community event has been arranged by the Church of Christ the King Shoreham, which is based at the Shoreham Centre.
Tickets cost £5 and should be booked online in advance athough slots may be available on a ‘turn up pay cash’ basis.
