The display team announced on Sunday that 92-year-old Mr Gregory had died from his injuries, following a hit and run near his home in Hampshire.

His wife, Liz, who was with him at Shoreham Airshow last year, expressed her ‘heartfelt thanks for all the support and messages of goodwill’ which had ‘buoyed her up during this difficult time’.
