ROADS came to a standstill in Broadwater as an armada of cyclists escorted Don Lock’s family to Worthing Crematorium this afternoon.

Crowds cheered as the funeral procession made its way from Broadwater Green, Broadwater, on its journey northwards.

Freelance photographer Eddie Mitchell captured these poignant images which show dozens of cyclists accompanying Mr Lock and his family, in an emotional send-off.

Great-grandfather Mr Lock, 79, was killed during an alleged road-rage attack on July 16, along the A24 through Findon.

Matthew Daley, 34, of St Elmo Road, Worthing, has been charged with murder and possession of a bladed article in connection with Don’s death.
