ADUR Ferry Bridge and the River Adur feature strongly in the readers’ picture gallery for February.
Mike Wooldridge send in a photo of the Shoreham Beach end of Adur Ferry Bridge, to accompany a letter on the situation there.
He said: “The photo, though not claiming to have any artistic merit, may nevertheless be of interest to readers.
“It captures a moment in time as regards the unfolding history of the new Adur Ferry Bridge, and shows a view taken just west of the southern end of the bridge.”
Victoria Benson sent in pictures of damage to the signs on Adur Ferry Bridge.
She said: “I’m surprised that for a bridge which apparently cost in the region of £10million that the signs are applied with sticky-back plastic. They are now peeling off, as can be seen from the photos.”
West Sussex County Council said the signs had been vandalised and that a permanent replacement was planned, but there was no date in mind to do so.
