GALLERY: Brilliant Big Bounce

SHOREHAM Baptist Church was filled to capacity for the latest Big Bounce family fun day.

Dozens of families flocked to the church, in Western Road, last Saturday and some even had to be turned away because there was simply no more room inside.

The bouncy castle and slide were kept busy all morning and there were also plenty of customers for the face painting and craft activities, which included making model Minions, and badge making.

For the more active children, there were several games to play, including giant versions of Connect 4 and Jenga, and a penalty shoot-out.

Parents were able to sit and watch their children play while enjoying refreshments, including home-made cakes, and there was also a tuck shop available.

Joint organiser Nick Hough said: “It was a brilliant day, with loads of people coming in all morning. We estimate that more than 400 people enjoyed the activities.

“Everyone seemed to have a good time and we all really enjoyed putting this on for families at the end of the half term holiday.”

The next family-friendly events being organised by the church will be an Easter egg hunt round the town on Saturday, March 14, and a Donkey Tales all-age service on Sunday, April 19.
