Fun activities for February half term

CREATIVE challenges and countryside skills will be on offer at the Weald and Downland Open Air Museum for the February half term.

From February 15 to 19, there will be extra indoor and outdoor hands-on fun for children of all ages, including outdoor trails, arts and crafts, located around the museum’s 40-acre downland site.

Make a bird seed cake and learn how to identify some common birds in the winter wildlife creative zone

Design a creative creature badge, try a wildlife-inspired challenge, make a lino print or pen a short wildlife-inspired poem.

For the younger visitors, there will be readings of short stories with a wildlife and farmyard animal theme.

Most activities are under cover and will run from 11am to 3pm. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Regular admission charges apply and the museum will open from 10.30am to 4pm.
