A free Christmas day lunch is on offer for anyone who is retired or will be on their own this year at the Shoreham Centre.

Cheryl Bailey, who works in the Shoreham Centre’s cafe at the weekend and is catering manager at the Sir Robert Woodard Academy during the week, will be the chef for the day.

Doors will open at 11.30am with hot chocolate and mince pies served from 11.45am.

Christmas music will be performed by James and Rosanna Lelean and Sir Robert Woodard Academy guests at 12.

There are 70 tickets available for the Christmas lunch. Spaces must be pre-booked at reception or by calling 01273 454 686.

Anyone who would like to contribute to the event can donate gifts, such as wine or chocolate, or money towards costs.

Donations should be left at the reception with the community trust staff.
