There will be cookery workshops, demonstrations and plenty of different types of food and drink to sample at the free event which runs from 10am to 5pm on Saturday, September 24 and Sunday, September 25.

This year’s celebrity chef will be Dean Edwards, resident chef on the Lorraine Show, who will appear on Sunday for cookery demonstrations and book signings.

More than forty stalls will be showcasing their food, from Charlotte’s Traditional Sussex Pickles and Preserves, Staks Souvlaki Bar and Mr Delicious Hog Roast to South Coast Macaroons, Yum Yums and Charlene’s Chocolate Factory.

Inside the festival marquee, a demo kitchen will host a programme of cookery demonstrations and talks.

The fun kicks off at 11am on Saturday when Dave Hunt will officially open the event before an hour long show from award-winning children’s entertainment group Blast Science.

Saturday’s activities will also feature cooking demonstrations from Northbrook College as well as Proto Restaurant Group, plus a wine tasting session.
