Firefighters turn locksmiths for busy weekend

FIREFIGHTERS had a busy weekend freeing people who had become either locked in or out of their homes.

They were called to Blessing Lodge, in Britannia Avenue, Shoreham, shortly before 8.30pm on Friday, where a residents had become locked out of their home.

Fifteen minutes later they were called to Rectory Close, Shoreham, where they removed a bathroom door after a young lady had become locked in.

At 10.15pm on Saturday, they freed an elderly couple from the living room of their house, in Franklin Road, Shoreham, where they had become trapped.
