Flower tributes spelling out ‘fiancé’ and ‘daddy’ surrounded the wicker casket, which was carried into the chapel to the song ‘There You’ll Be’ by Faith Hill, followed by almost 100 mourners.

At the service, a tribute was made to the 54-year-old by his cousin, Kenny Trussler.

Celebrant Terri Shanks read out tributes on the behalf of Mark’s sisters Bobbie and Cara, daughter Samantha, fiancé Giovanna Chirico and friend Andrew Hebenthen.
