Sussex choir Vivace! held a garden party concert at the Church of the Good Shepherd, in aid of church funds and Worthing Churches Homeless Projects.

They had the crowd tapping their feet along to hits such as Abba’s Super Trouper, alongside more poignant songs like a solo performance of George Gershwin’s Summertime.

The choir was mainly a capella and even recreated the sound of a didgeridoo for Waltzing Matilda.

Abi Harley, community fundraiser at Worthing Churches Homeless Projects, said: “The concert was absolutely fabulous, it was a beautiful evening filled with beautiful voices.

“We were thrilled that Vivace! chose to support us as we could not continue to provide the vital service we do without the support of the local community.”

The charity helps people who are homeless or insecurely housed in the area.
