Engineering Manager celebrates 20 years of service at Shoreham Port

An engineering manager at Shoreham Port has been presented with a long service award after twenty years of employment.

Carl Aichroth joined as a diver and maintenance operative in 1996, repairing and maintaining the port’s infrastructure. Now he manages a team of skilled tradesmen, while continuing to maintain the infrastructure of the port.
Mr Aichroth said: “I love the variety of work at the Port. I know a lot of people say it, but really no two days are ever the same.

“I feel very lucky to work in such a great team and was delighted to receive my long service award this week.”
Rodney Lunn, Chief Executive at Shoreham Port, said: “Carl is a valued member of our team. His commitment and dedication has resulted in him becoming an integral part of the Engineering Department. 
“It was a pleasure to present Carl with his long service award this week and I look forward to continuing to work with him.”
