Emergency services attend incident at Shoreham beach
The emergency services are at the scene of an incident at Shoreham beach.
The HM Coastguard confirmed it received a report of an incident opposite to the east side of Widewater Lagoon, between Lancing and Shoreham, at 1.44pm today.
“Shoreham Coastguard Rescue Team were tasked as well as Shoreham RNLI lifeboat to the incident, assisting Sussex Police and the South East Ambulance Service,” the spokesman said.
Sussex Police has been approached for further information.
