Drink-driving teen banned

A TEENAGER convicted of drink-driving on the streets of Shoreham has been banned from driving for 18 months.

Samuel Pescod, 19, of Old Shoreham Road, Portslade, was pulled over by police and arrested on New Year’s Day at just before 4am.

His car was stopped in Greenways Crescent, Shoreham, because it had no lights on in the dark.

Pescod admitted the offence of drink-driving.

In addition to the 18-month ban, he was fined £350 and ordered to pay £85 in costs and a £35 victim surcharge.
