DRAMA students at Steyning Ariel Academy raised £241 for Comic Relief by painting their faces and donning red noses.
A cake sale helped boost the total, with an array of tasted treats baked.
Principal Marisha Jenkins said: “It was such a fun day for all the Ariel students. They really went to town and created some wonderful faces.
“We were astounded by the amount of cakes our students baked to also raise money for this worthwhile cause.”
Both children and tutors donned red noses, red hair and red faces, as well as taking in cakes and snacks to sell.
Funny faces included jungle animals, green aliens, super heroes, creepy clowns and marvellous makeovers with moustaches, glasses, spots and of course red noses.
Across all their academies, Ariel raised £760 for Comic Relief.
