DOG lovers and their four-legged friends will be out in force on Sunday for a charity open day.
Dogs Trust Shoreham, in Brighton Road, hosts its annual fun day from 11.30am to 4pm.
Fun and games for all the family are promised, including the popular dog show, where dogs of all shapes and sizes will compete in categories like waggiest tail, best trick and dog most like its owner. Other highlights include a tombola, Doggie Dash and raffle.
Traey Rae, rehoming centre manager, said: “We are so excited to be hosting another annual fun day, it’s a fantastic opportunity to meet local dog lovers and raise pounds for the hounds in our care. There are all sorts of fun activities planned.
“In the run up to the open day, we are asking for donations of wine and boxes of chocolates for various prizes and are also looking for pre-loved items to sell through our charity shops.”
Donations can be dropped off at the fun day ‘drop stop’.
Entrance is £1 for adults, free for OAPs and children. Parking is available on Adur Recreation Ground, with park and ride from 11am for disabled badge holders.
