Dog of the week: Red Ted

Full of enthusiasm, Red Ted is a fun dog with a big character, despite the small size.

This cheeky, clever German Spitz loves to learn new tricks and even does a signature dance when tasty treats are spotted.

The four-year-old would be best suited to a quiet, adult-only home without visiting children.

Tracey Rae, rehoming centre manager at Dogs Trust Shoreham, said: “Although he’d like to be the only pet in the household, he enjoys meeting up with canine chums when out and about.

“Red Ted will need a garden of his own so that he has a safe space to mooch around and relax.

“Although it may take a few visits to get to know him, once he has built a bond with you he’ll be a friend for life.”

Someone who loves near the Brighton Road centre would be best, as it will take time to get to know Red Ted. Call 01273 452576 or visit the centre for more information.
