The two-year-old beagle likes a peaceful life, so a quiet household without too many visitors coming and going would be ideal.

Tracey Rae, rehoming centre manager at Dogs Trust Shoreham, said: “Initially shy when meeting new people, Addy will really come out of her shell once a trusting bond has been built.

“A garden of her own would be ideal so that she could build up her confidence and prepare for the great outdoors in her own time. She’d like to share her home with teenagers who are aged 14 years and over.

“Addy can often be found snuggling up with her kennel mate. She feels more confident with another canine to keep her company and will need to live with one that would be happy to share her space.

“As she blossoms, Addy will become a wonderful companion and her new family will find huge reward in seeing her achieve more and more each day.”
