STAFF at Dogs Trust Shoreham are trying to find a new home for six-year-old Kerry
The female Staffordshire bull terrier is a huge favourite with both staff and volunteers.
As much as everyone adores her, they would love nothing more than to see her strolling off into the sunset with her perfect owner.
Kerry is looking for a home with a confident and calm dog to help her settle in and allow owners to start working up to leaving her alone, as this isn’t something she is comfortable with at present.
She is very friendly with people, including strangers, but she does sometimes forget her manners and have a jump around. New owners need to continue her training by being calm around her and rewarding her for sitting.
She is looking for a home with older teens for this reason.
Kerry enjoys keeping fit and would really benefit from owners who enjoy long walks and generally keeping busy.
She isn’t used to travelling in the car so this is something that new owners need to teach her, with the guidance of our training and behaviour advisor.
