NEW owners with plenty of time on their hands are needed for male lurcher Baloo.

“He is a young boy and will benefit from basic training,” explained Dogs Trust Shoreham.

“Some training has been started at Dogs Trust and this will need to be continued when he goes to his new home.”

Baloo is just over a year old and has a great character, being very bright and an active dog that loves walks.

“He travels well in the car,” said the charity. “He loves to play fetch and will bring the ball back for you to throw again (and again and again!).

“Baloo would like owners that have lots of time to devote to him. A quiet adult home with a large garden is what Baloo is looking for, and owners who will need to not leave him on his own until he is fully settled.

“He would like to be the only pet in his new home so he can have all the attention to himself.

“He enjoys learning new things and keeping his mind busy. He does lack confidence, so he is in need of understanding owners who will take things slow with him.”
