Sue Daddak, general manager of The Dome, said: “After the sad death of actor Robin William, we thought this would be a worthwhile charity and with the Dome’s 100 year history, it will be a fantastic venue to watch this latest episode of the ever-popular series, creating even more atmosphere and maybe a hair or two to stand up on the back of your neck!”

Drinks will be available in the Projectionist Bar before the feature-length screening, which starts at 7.35pm.

It will be followed by a satellite question and answer session with the show’s new Doctor, Peter Capaldi.

On September 14 The Dome will have an exclusive first ever UK screening of a digitally re-graded version of the cult classic, Quadrophenia, with remastered original soundtrack by Pete Townsend in surround sound.
