The money for the device was raised by day of bag packing and bucket collection by the players. It was presented on Saturday to Richard Willis, chairman of the club, by Claire Hobson from Tesco.

This life saving device will be mounted in the club lobby and available for use by both the club members and volunteers and members of the public accessing Palatine Park. Club.

The majority of managers and coaches have received training in use of the device but the design allows anyone to be able to use it.

Mayor Cllr Sean Macdonald, Cllr Clive Roberts, and representatives from the Fire and Rescue and Ambulance service attended the presentation.
