A TALENTED young jazz singer from Copenhagen is performing in Steyning on Friday

Sara Oschlag visits Steyning Jazz Club at the Steyning Centre.

She will be backed by Ian Price on sax and flute, Tim Lapthorn on piano, Dan Sheppard on double bass, and Dave Trigwell on drums.

Club member Colin Jilks said the Danish singer, how now lives in the UK, had made waves in her home town.

“Her smooth lyrical singing, delivered with her sultry soft sophistication, encompasses a wide range of styles, and the evening will showcase many numbers from her recent CD release, as well as standards from the Great American Songbook,” he added.
