Cycling off the excesses of Christmas Day

AFTER the excesses of Christmas, Giant Shoreham is inviting bike enthusiasts for a cycle ride on Saturday, December 28.

The 26-mile journey will have plenty of breaks to ease cyclists back into the saddle.

The group will leave the shop in Little High Street, Shoreham, at 9.10am, but staff ask people to arrive early so that they can set off on time.

Riders will be led by Howie from Giant Shoreham, who will accommodate all levels of skill.

However, if this weekend is a little too soon to start cycling, then join the ‘shed’ ride on January 5. This ride will begin at 11.30am at the shop and take place mainly on cycle paths en-route to Worthing.

The idea is to get any old bikes out of the shed and ‘rediscover the joy of riding’ along with other riders who have left their bikes to languish.

The rides are free but if people wish to participate then email the store on [email protected] or call on 01273 463579.
