Worthing man arrested after significant amount of equipment stolen from Roundstone Farm

A Worthing man has been arrested over the theft of equipment from Roundstone Farm, which police are still trying to trace.

According to Sussex Police, two units were broken into at the Littlehampton Road farm on Sunday, December 6, between 1am and 6.30am.

A significant amount of gardening, landscaping and construction equipment was stolen, as well as a white transit van with red and green signage.

Police reviewed CCTV footage and two people were seen at the location. Both were wearing balaclavas and gloves.

Detective Constable Jordan Holmes said: “We are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen or been offered these stolen goods or who has any information which can further assist our investigation.

“We have been conducting lines of enquiry into this investigation, which has resulted in the arrest of a 34-year-old man from Worthing on suspicion of burglary.

“He was also further arrested on suspicion of possession of small quantities of class A and class B drugs. The man has been released under investigation.”
