Volvo stolen from Southwick home

Police are appealing for witnesses after a black Volvo V50 was stolen from Waterdyke Avenue in Southwick.

Sometime between midnight and 7.30am on Sunday (September 20), a house in The Green was broken into and the car keys, a handbag and pot full of change were taken.

It is believed the suspect got in through the back door which was left unlocked.

Detective Constable Emma Fields said: “We would like any witnesses to either email or call 101 quoting reference 0643 of 20/09.

“I would urge anybody to make sure doors and windows are always left secure, even when you’re at home. You can find out more information on the Sussex Police website.”
