These are the arrests made by Sussex Roads Police on VE Day anniversary

Several arrests were made by Sussex Roads Police on VE Day, while many of us were celebrating the anniversary.

At around 3pm yesterday (May 9), Sussex Roads Police gave a Twitter update about the arrests that had been made on Bank Holiday Friday.

Here is the list:

- A vehicle was stopped on the A23 and both of the occupants were arrested for offences relating to the supply of drugs.

- Officers attended a road traffic collision in East Sussex where the driver of the crashed vehicle was found to be drunk, police said.

- In West Sussex, officers did a stop check of a vehicle and arrested the driver for driving while over the specified limit for cocaine. It was the third time he had been arrested that week, police said.

- Another stop check in West Sussex saw a driver arrested after he failed the roadside drugwipe for both Cannabis and Cocaine. He was also found in possession of drugs.

- Officers attended a single vehicle collision on the #A23 and arrested a female on suspicion of drink driving and possession of class A drugs. No one was injured in the crash, police said.
