Teenage girl arrested in Sussex murder investigation

A teenage girl has been arrested on suspicion of a murder in Sussex.

Sussex Police say the teen was arrested last night (October 28) as part of an investigation into the murder of a man in Three Bridges, Crawley.

Emergency services were called to Russell Way at 9pm on Tuesday (October 27) where they found the 24-year-old victim seriously injured, police said.

He was treated by paramedics and an air ambulance doctor but, despite their best efforts, was declared dead at the scene.

The victim’s identity has not yet been released by police to the public.

A 14-year-old girl from Crawley was arrested in south London at around 10.20pm last night on suspicion of murder, police said.

And a 21-year-old man from London was also arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.
