'Pork pie hat' burglar targets several Littlehampton homes: have you seen him?

Sussex Police said the mystery man reportedly tried to get in to at least three properties in Oakcroft Gardens at around 2.30am on Monday (June 15).

A green Apollo bicycle, with green and white stripes on the frame, was stolen from a garage of one house. No other items have been reported stolen, police said.

Police described the suspect as a man aged between the ages of 25 and 45, wearing a pork pie hat, and had his face covered by his jacket.

A spokesperson for the force said: "If you saw anything suspicious in the area at the time, or if you think your property may have been targeted, please report it online or call 101, quoting serial 793 of 15/06."
