Littlehampton boy, 12, knocked unconscious in car park attack

A 12-year-old boy has been knocked unconscious in an attack in Littlehampton.

At around 10.30am on Monday (March 8), two 12-year-old boys were walking through the old Waitrose car park in Duke Street on their way to school when they were approached by three teenage boys asking for money.

One of the 12-year-olds was punched in the face and knocked unconscious. He was taken to hospital with facial injuries, police said, before being discharged.

He suffered bruising and swelling in the attack.

The three suspects ran away from the scene. Officers conducted an area search but they weren't located. They are described as approximately 12-14 years, and one was wearing a blue top, one was in green and the third was wearing a black top.
