The following are the latest results contributed by HM Courts Service, for cases sentenced by West Sussex Magistrates' Court sitting at Worthing and Chichester from July 18 to 22, 2016.

Daniel Carruthers, 30, of Cedar Avenue, Worthing, was given a community order and must carry out 80 hours’ unpaid work after admitting breaching a non-molestation order by being abusive and threatening at Beeding Garage, Upper Beeding, on March 19, 2016; using threatening words or behaviour at Beeding Garage, Upper Beeding, on March 6, 2016; and making threats in Henfield on March 8, 2016. He must pay £85 victim surcharge, £85 costs.

Kieron Richards, 19, of Epsom Gardens, Rustington, was committed to detention for 26 weeks, suspended for 18 months, with four-month curfew, electronically monitored, from 9pm to 6am, after admitting dangerous driving through Rustington and East Preston on April 6, 2016. He must pay £115 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and was disqualified from driving for 18 months. He also admitted failing to stop when required by a police constable; driving without insurance; and driving without a licence, no separate penalty. He was also disqualified from driving for 12 months after admitting drug-driving (2.6ug/l Delta-9-THC) in Station Road, Rustington, on April 6, 2016.

Christopher Townsend, 26, of Hurstfield, Lancing, was fined £200 and must pay £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs, after admitting resisting a police constable in Lancing on February 13, 2016.

Mitchell Hand, 23, of Heathcourt, St Flora’s Road, Littlehampton, was fined £180 and must pay £30 victim surcharge, £85 costs, after admitting drink-driving (46mg of alcohol in 100ml of breath) on the A284 Crossbush on June 26, 2016. He was disqualified from driving for 12 months.

Michael Mandry, 66, of Cove Road, Rustington, was fined £120 and must pay £30 victim surcharge, £85 costs, after admitting failing to provide a specimen for analysis when required by police in Bognor Regis on June 26, 2016. He was disqualified from driving for 17 months.

Harry Upperton, 22, of Sea Lane, East Preston, was fined £320 and must pay £32 victim surcharge, £85 costs, after admitting drug-driving (2.7ug/L Delta-9-THC) in Littlehampton Road, Worthing, on May 15, 2016. He was disqualified from driving for 12 months. He was fined £215 after admitting exceeding the 50mph speed limit in Littlehampton Road, Ferring, and fined a further £200 after admitting possessing cannabis.

Stephen Garrad, 54, of Bury House, Broadwater Street East, Broadwater, was fined £85 and must pay £30 victim surcharge, £85 costs, after admitting assaulting a police constable in Worthing on June 28, 2016. He was discharged conditionally for six months after admitting possessing cannabis in Worthing on June 28, 2016.

David Ramsay, 28, of Church Walk, East Worthing, was fined £250 and must pay £30 victim surcharge, £85 costs, after admitting drink-driving (58mg of alcohol in 100ml of breath) in Church Walk, East Worthing, on July 2, 2016. He was disqualified from driving for 12 months.

Brad Ricketts, 18, of Gordon Avenue, Shoreham, was fined £80 and must pay £114.11 compensation, £85 costs, after admitting causing £114.11 damage at Footprints Children and Family Centre, Worthing, on May 23, 2016.

John Kennedy, 48, of Downland Park, The Street, Bramber, was given an eight-week prison sentence, suspended for 12 months, and must pay £80 victim surcharge, £85 costs, after admitting texting threatening messages causing fear of violence in Steyning between February 1, 2016, and February 29, 2016.

Kamran Hussain, 33, of Canterbury Road, Tarring, was fined £400 and must pay £40 victim surcharge, £400 costs, after being found guilty of using threatening words or behaviour in Worthing on December 19, 2015.

Robert Loader, 68, of Watersmead Drive, Littlehampton, was fined £120 and must pay £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs, after admitting failing to identify a driver when required by British Transport Police in Ford between January 18 and 23, 2016. His driving record was endorsed with six points.

Grant Fraser, 27, of Wick Parade, Wick, was discharged conditionally for 12 months and must pay £20 victim surcharge, £100 costs, after admitting using threatening words or behaviour in Littlehampton on May 25, 2016.

Sam Wood, 27, of Chester Avenue, Worthing, was fined £220 and must pay £30 victim surcharge, £127 costs, after being found guilty of fishing without a licence at Mill Farm Fishery, Pulborough, on April 16, 2016.

Benjamin Lamb, 23, c/o Annweir Avenue, Lancing, was fined £100 and must pay £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs, after admitting common assault in Broadwater on December 7, 2015.
