The following are the latest results contributed by HM Courts Service, for cases sentenced by West Sussex Magistrates’ Court sitting at Worthing and Crawley from December 22, 2020, to January 13, 2021.

Emily Taylor, 33, of Orchard Avenue, Worthing, was fined £120 and must pay £34 victim surcharge, £85 costs, after admitting failing to stop after an accident in which damage was caused to another vehicle in Southcourt Road, Worthing, on June 17, 2020. She was fined £120 after admitting driving without insurance in Southcourt Road, Worthing, on June 17, 2020. She also admitted driving without due care and attention; failing to report to the police an accident in which damage was caused to another vehicle; and driving without the correct licence, in Southcourt Road, Worthing, on June 17, 2020, no separate penalties. She was disqualified from driving for six months.

Roland Ambassa, 34, of North Road, Brighton, was fined £267 and must pay £34 victim surcharge, £110 costs, after being found guilty under the single justice procedure of driving without due care and attention in Shelley Road, Worthing, at the junction with Crescent Road on June 16, 2020. His driving record was endorsed with six points.

James Collins, 58, of Greenland Road, Worthing, was fined £40 and must pay £34 victim surcharge after admitting driving over the 30mph speed limit in Marine Parade, Brighton, on June 7, 2020. His driving record was endorsed with three points.

Stergios Antaimis, 26, of Broadwater Boulevard Flats, Worthing, was fined £660 and must pay £85 costs after being found guilty of failing to identify a driver when required by Sussex Police at Shoreham on February 21, 2020. He was also fined £660 and must pay £181 victim surcharge, £85 costs, after being found guilty of failing to identify a driver when required by Sussex Police at Shoreham on February 14, 2020. He was disqualified from driving for six months due to repeat offending.

Ionut Ciulei, 24, of Manor House, Lansdowne Road, Worthing, was fined £665 and must pay £66 victim surcharge, £85 costs, after being found guilty under the single justice procedure of driving over 70mph on the M23 at Tilgate Forest on March 8, 2020. His driving record was endorsed with six points.

Ali Igneci, 43, of Broadwater Road, Worthing, was fined £207 and must pay £32 victim surcharge, £85 costs, after being found guilty under the single justice procedure of driving without insurance in Mill Road, Brighton, on October 29, 2019. His driving record was endorsed with six points and he was disqualified from driving for six months due to repeat offending.

Amy Easton, 28, of Kings Road, Brighton, was fined £40 and must pay £34 victim surcharge, £85 costs, after admitting stealing speakers and perfume worth £80 from The Original Factory Shop, Shoreham, on September 23, 2020.

Tracy Gordon, 53, of Leominster Road, Portsmouth, was given a community order with rehabilitation activity requirement and must pay £90 victim surcharge, £85 costs, after admitting stealing toiletries, food and clothes worth £1,150 from Sainsbury’s, Rustington, on February 29, 2020; and stealing food, drink and clothing worth £418.60 from Sainsbury’s, Chichester, on March 30, 2020.

Christopher Way, 39, of Lyndhurst Road, Worthing, was given a community order with ten-week curfew, electronically monitored, from 7pm to 7am daily, and must pay £150 compensation, £95 victim surcharge, £250 costs, after admitting assaulting an emergency worker, a police officer, by beating in South Farm Road, Worthing, on June 3, 2020; and intentionally obstructing a police constable in the exercise of her powers under the Misuse of Drugs Act in South Farm Road, Worthing, on June 3, 2020.

Darrell Ford, 37, of Franklin Road, Worthing, must pay £60 costs after breaching a community order by failing to attend appointments on September 9 and December 3, 2020, and failing to maintain contact since December 2, 2020. The order was revoked and he was given a new community order with rehabilitation activity requirement for harassment, by making numerous messages and calls, and following someone on numerous occasions, in Goring between April 20 and May 9, 2019.

Daniel Johnson, 28, of Crossbush Lane, Poling, was fined £150 after admitting breaching supervision requirements following release from prison by failing to keep in touch with his supervisor, failing to reside permanently at an approved address and failing to obtain permission to stay at a different address, and failing to attend an appointment on October 26, 2020.

James Hendry, 55, of Wardley Hotel, Somerhill Avenue, Hove, was discharged conditionally for 12 months and must pay £22 victim surcharge, £45 costs, after admitting failing to comply with a community protection notice by sitting in a shop doorway, asking people for money while drinking alcohol from an open container, in Worthing on September 8, 2020.

Rachid Meah, 23, of Collingwood Road, Worthing, was fined £300 and must pay £32 victim surcharge, £85 costs, after admitting drug-driving (4.3ug/l Delta-9-THC) in Ferring Street, Ferring, on March 18, 2020. He was disqualified from driving for 12 months.

Sian Sims, 32, of The Strand, Goring, was fined £220 and must pay £35 victim surcharge, £85 costs, after admitting drink-driving (64mg of alcohol in 100ml of breath) at Crossbush Service Station on October 1, 2020. She was disqualified from driving for 40 months. She was also fined £146 after admitting possessing 11g of cannabis, a class B drug, in Littlehampton on August 15, 2020.

Kevin Goucher, 49, c/o Dolphin Road, Shoreham, was fined £120 and must pay £32 victim surcharge, £85 costs, after admitting drug-driving (8.3ug/l Delta-9-THC) in High Street, Worthing, on April 21, 2020. He was disqualified from driving for 13 months.

Brendon Shereni, 28, of Bourne Court, Phoenix Close, Littlehampton, was fined £200 and must pay £34 victim surcharge, £85 costs, after admitting being in charge of a vehicle while over the drug-driving limit (5.5ug/l Delta-9-THC) in Bost Hill, Findon Valley, on June 6, 2020. His driving record was endorsed with ten points.

Dylan Aylwood, 22, c/o Wick Street, Littlehampton, was given a community order and must carry out 80 hours’ unpaid work after admitting driving while disqualified in Lamorna Gardens, Westergate, on October 26, 2020. He was given a community order and must carry out 40 hours’ unpaid work, to run concurrently, after admitting failing to surrender to custody at Worthing Magistrates’ Court on October 27, 2020. He must pay £95 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and was disqualified from driving for four months. He also admitted driving without insurance, no separate penalty.

Hannah Butcher, 31, of Dominion Road, Worthing, was fined £80 and must pay £34 victim surcharge, £85 costs, after admitting failing to provide a specimen of breath for analysis when required in Worthing on December 22, 2020. Her driving record was endorsed with ten points.

Joseph Chantebel, 19, of Harsfold Road, Rustington, was fined £184 and must pay £34 victim surcharge, £85 costs, after admitting drink-driving (58mg of alcohol in 100ml of breath) in Lyminster Road, at Crossbush Service Station, on December 22, 2020. He was disqualified from driving for 15 months.

Toby Poole, 27, of Bushby Avenue, Rustington, was given a community order and must carry out 120 hours’ unpaid work after admitting drink-driving (91mg of alcohol in 100ml of breath) in Beach Road, Littlehampton, on December 20, 2020. He must pay £95 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and was disqualified from driving for 40 months.

Quintin Ridgley, 54, of Dominion Road, Worthing, was fined £217 and must pay £43 victim surcharge, £85 costs, after admitting using threatening or abusive words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress in Worthing on February 17, 2020. He was also fined £217 after admitting using threatening or abusive words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress in Worthing on February 8, 2020.
