Girl, 12, punched and three women assaulted during Crawley parking row

A 12-year-old girl was punched during a row over parking, according to police.

A spokesman said officers were called to Tilgate Parade at 9.05pm on Friday, May 29.

He added: “A woman in her thirties had been assaulted and sustained facial injuries after a reported dispute over car parking.

“She was taken to East Surrey Hospital to be treated for her injuries

“Two other women in their thirties had also been assaulted, one sustaining grazes and the other one not sustaining actual injury.

“A 12-year-old girl had also been assaulted by being punched though she had not sustained actual injury.”

A man and woman alleged to be responsible for the assaults made off and enquiries are being carried out to identify and trace them, according the spokesman.
