Former nurse denies sex offences

A former nurse accused of sex offences while he worked at Worthing and St Richards hospitals has pleaded not guilty to all charges.

Stephen Board, 64, of Linden Road, Bognor Regis, pleaded not guilty to six counts of sexual assault and two counts of sexual touching against a number of complainants at Worthing Hospital and St Richards Hospital in Chichester between 2006 and 2015.

Board appeared at Worthing Magistrates’ Court this afternoon.

His case has been sent to Lewes Crown Court, where he will appear for trial on January 4.

Board was bailed on the condition that he does not undertake any hospital theatre roles and may not contact a number of people.
