32-year-old man arrested in relation to Worthing robberies

A man has been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit robbery by detectives investigating the series of robberies in Worthing and Lancing.

A 32-year-old man of no fixed address is currently in custody being questioned about a series of robberies from Monday, August 1 to Sunday, September 18, according to police.

He has also been arrested on suspicion of committing an aggravated burglary on 6 August in St Elmo Road, Worthing.

Detective Inspector Alan Pack said: “We continue to make progress with the investigation.

“Anyone with information about any of the robberies please contact us by emailing [email protected] or ring 101 quoting Operation Zinger.”
