Council Christmas opening times for Arun, Horsham, Worthing and Adur

THE following council opening times will apply over the Christmas and new year bank holiday weekends.

Adur and Worthing

Adur and Worthing councils’ civic office will close at 4pm on Friday, December 23 and will reopen on Tuesday, January 3, at the following times:

Adur Civic Centre Help Point – 8.30am;

Worthing Town Hall Help point – 8.30am;

Worthing Town Hall personal enquiry counter – 8.45am;

Portland House Help Point – 9am.

The cash office at the Civic Centre will close at 2.30pm on Friday, December 23, and reopen at 8.30am on Tuesday, January 3.

The cash office at Worthing Town Hall will close at 2.30pm on Friday, December 23, and will reopen at 8.30am on Tuesday, January 3.

The council’s telephone switchboard will close at 4pm on Friday, December 23, and re-open on Tuesday, January 3.

Horsham

Horsham District Council’s offices in North Street, Horsham, will be closed or have reduced opening on the following days:

Friday, December 23, offices close at 3pm;

Monday, December 26, offices closed;

Tuesday, December 27, offices closed;

Monday, January 2, offices closed.

On all other dates, the office will be open during normal office hours – 8.45am to 5.20pm Monday to Thursday, 8.45am to 4.20pm on Fridays.

Arun

Arun District Council’s offices will close over the Christmas period, re-opening on Tuesday, January 3, 2012.

Arun Civic Centre in Littlehampton and Bognor Regis Town Hall will shut from 4.45pm on Friday, December 23.

Arun’s Building Control Service will be operating a limited inspection service for the days of December 28, 29 and 30th. Any inspection requests for building works can only be made by telephoning 07766510115 between the hours of 9am and 10am on the day of the required site visit. With the exception of attending dangerous structure incidents, no other Building Control facilities will be available during the office closure period.

All Arun offices will re-open as usual on January 3, at 8.45am.
