Concern for missing Sompting woman

Jill Barns, 72, was last seen at 10pm on Monday (November 23) at her home in Western Road.

Inspector Allan Lowe said: “This is out of character for Jill as she tends to have the same routine and she hasn’t gone missing before.

“Officers are checking the area and ask that if anyone has seen her or knows of her whereabouts to contact police.”

Jill is described as white, 5’ 4”, of large build, with short grey hair, green eyes and a ruddy complexion.

Contact police on 101 quoting serial 0553 of 24/11 or ring 999 if she is in danger or in need of urgent medical attention.
