The St Mary de Haura Church event takes place from midday to 4pm, in the churchyard.

Churchwarden Ian Tompkin said: “This is to be both a parish and above all a town event. All are welcome, including the large number of people who pass through the churchyard.

“We are so blessed with this great church and the area of the churchyard in the centre of the town. The summer fayre has all the promise of a great afternoon of outside events, in the best English tradition.”

Stalls include tombola, mystery raffle, children’s toys, cakes and refreshments, following on from the monthly farmers’ market.
