Cheers to Harry, who has been eating out monthly for 50 years

The presentation of a bottle of champagne seemed an appropriate way of marking 50 years of dining out each month in the best of local pubs and restaurants by 90-year-old Harry Treadwell, a member of Shoreham and Southwick 41 Club.

The presentation was made by John Colwill, chairman of the club, during drinks in the garden of the Waterside Inn, Shoreham Beach, before dinner in a nearby restaurant.

As its name suggests, the 41 Club, which has an extensive national network, is the club into which members of Round Table move when they reach the age of 40.
