ACCLAIMED chamber ensemble Endymion comes to Steyning next week.

Steyning Music Society is hosting the concert at the Steyning Centre on Saturday, May 9, at 7.30pm.

Spokesman Gary Prior said: “Steyning Music Society offers the rare chance to hear both the Mozart and Brahms quintets for clarinet and strings on the same evening when it presents internationally acclaimed chamber ensemble Endymion.

“Endymion delivers world-class performances of chamber music throughout London, the UK and abroad. They appear regularly at the Wigmore Hall, Southbank Centre, the BBC Proms, and the Cheltenham and Spitafields Festivals.

“They have toured to Austria, Ireland, Mexico, Spain, Finland and Italy. In 2014, Endymion gave their tenth Proms performance, playing Steve Reich’s Desert Music with the BBC Singers.”

As well as the Mozart and Brahms, Endymion will include in its programme Schubert’s String Trio in B flat, D.471.

Tickets for non-members cost £15, members pay £10 and students are £2. They are available in advance from the Steyning Bookshop or on 01903 812662. Visit for more information.
