Cellar flooded
FLOODING in a cellar in Steyning had to be pumped out by Shoreham firefighters.
The crew was called to a house in Horsham Road on Friday afternoon, when heavy rain caused water to flood the cellar.
West Sussex Fire and Rescue said the call came in just after 2pm and firefighters were at the property until 4.15pm.
They pumped out the water and offered advice to the home owner.
