Carol service to help homeless

TWO Rotary clubs are joining forces to present a charity carol service at Lancing College Chapel.

The Steyning and Henfield club is working with the Shoreham and Southwick club for the annual free service, with carols and readings, on Thursday, December 19, at 7.30pm.

Worthing Salvation Army Band, headed up by Major David Howarth, will to lead the carols and popular soloists Rachel Shouksmith and Ed Hawkins return for this year’s service.

A collection will be held to support the homeless and hungry at Christmas.

Les Baker, from Shoreham and Southwick Rotary Club, said: “Please come along and join us to celebrate the start of Christmas with carols in these wonderful surroundings.”
