The event took place at the Shoreham Methodist Church last Saturday.

Charities included Emmaus, Christian Aid and Amnesty.

Jackie Gillespie, organiser, said: “Of course, it isn’t only the fund-raising aspect of this sale that is important, but also the chance to bring to the public eye the work the various charities do. “Each year, I always look forward to heading up the day, as I have for about 15 years now, and would welcome more charities, space permitting.”
