Body found on beach at Goring

A man's body was found on the beach in Goring-by-Sea this morning (Thursday, December 17), police have said.

Pictures from the scene show an ambulance and a number of police officers responding to an incident on the beach off George V Avenue.

Sussex Police confirmed a man’s body was sadly discovered around 7.20am.

A spokesperson said: "The man’s body has been recovered and the coroner’s officer has been informed.

"We have no further information at this time."
