Big jellyfish found on Littlehampton beach

A dog walker took a photo of a large jellyfish that washed up on Littlehampton beach.

Carolyn Hobbs sent the eye-opening picture to the Herald, she said: “Our dog Rosie found this jellyfish on Littlehampton beach near the swimming centre.”

This comes just three weeks after scores of jellyfish were found scattered across Littlehampton beach following a storm.

A few days ago, a large barrel jellyfish was spotted on Worthing beach.

Experts believe their appearance across Sussex beaches could also be caused by warmer than normal temperatures.
