Appeal for witnesses after four men attacked in Teville Gate, Worthing

Police are seeking witnesses after four men were assaulted in Teville Gate, Worthing.

The incident happened around 3am on Saturday, July 18.

A Sussex Police spokesman said: “The group was attacked by two black men. Two of the victims, aged 23 and 39, were taken to Worthing Hospital for treatment to cuts to the head.

“Two other victims, aged 24 and age unknown, sustained a chipped tooth and a cut wrist respectively.”

Anyone who saw what happened is asked to email [email protected] or phone 101, quoting serial 219 of 18/7.

Two men, aged 19 and 21, from Thornton Heath and Worthing, have been arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

They have been bailed until September 7 and September 2, while enquiries continue.
