Appeal to find missing pensioner who may be in Sussex

Police have issued an urgent appeal in a bid to trace an elderly woman who may have gone missing in Sussex.

Sussex Police has issued an appeal on behalf of Hampshire Police in a bid to trace 78-year-old Joyce Crouthers, who went missing from her home in Honeysuckle Close, Gosport, at about 4.50pm on Wednesday (August 3).

Her family are concerned as Joyce hasn’t taken her medication with her and she may be confused and may not know where she is.

She has visited Sussex in the past, although she may still be in the Gosport or Fareham area.

Joyce is described as white, 5ft 6ins tall, of large build and has very short, brown hair.

She is likely to be wearing dark clothing and carrying a small, dark handbag.
