Adur Ferry Bridge added to poster series

Adur Ferry Bridge, number four in the series of vintage-style pictures, will be unveiled at Shoreham Farmers’ Market, in East Street, Shoreham, on Saturday, 9am to 1pm.

Danny, who lives in Shoreham and works from a studio in Brighton, began working on the project about a year ago.

He said: “It feels like I’ve taken more of a risk with this one, as I wanted to blend the vintage style with a very modern piece of architecture.

“The new bridge is such an icon for Shoreham and for me celebrates the town’s continual positive economic development.

“I wanted to explore an elevated view looking west along the river featuring the new footbridge, with the mussel beds in the mid ground and a glimpse of Norfolk Bridge and the beautiful South Downs in the distance.”
