Academy students in Hollywood-style prom

A SPECTACULAR array of fancy frocks and fine suits were donned by school leavers at Shoreham Academy.

Year 11 students gathered at the academy, in Kingston Lane, last Friday, for photographs and a chat with friends to get the night started.

They were then taken to the Hilton Avisford Park, in Yapton Lane,Walberton, for the evening, which included a sit-down meal at tables decked with balloons, and dancing.

Giovanna Molli, pastoral manager, said: “All the students looked amazing and a good time was had by all.

“The weather was fantastic, there was a Hollywood feel and parents looked on incredibly proud of their sons and daughters.”

Prom Queen was Amelia Bunker and Prom King was Ewan Jones.

The students will be returning to the academy on Thursday, August 13, to collect their A-level results.
